But the fact of the matter is the PS3 has almost all the same shooters (FPS mainly) that the 360 has. There are a few exceptions but that's the reality.
The 360 sells more software as a whole than it's competitors and while a game like Alan Wake won't sell Halo numbers, that doesn't mean it sold like crap. For example look at Uncharted 1 and 2. The first one didn't sell like it should've and the second didn't get recognition until the awards star...

Saying that the 360 is the "shooter box" and that Alan Wake should've been on the PS3 is crap. The top selling games on the PS3 are shooters, so what does that tell you. I love my PS3 and all but some of you are delusional with superiority complexes.

So by your logic, "cartoony" games don't equal quality becuase of how they look? Graphics are a part of making great games, yes, but it isn't the be all end all. At the end of the day, a game can be as great looking as it can possibly be but if the gameplay experience isn't there than it's all for not.
The games I listed are all really fun, gameplay experiences, but I would argue that none...

As good as UC2 is it isn't as good as people make it out to be. The same goes for GoW3 and KZ2. These are all great games; I still pop them in my PS3 from time to time, but by and large, PS3 games get hyped beyond belief (at least within its community) and never reach all the grandeur. With the exception of MGS4.
Great, very polished games? Yes. The be all, end all in gaming? Absolutely not. Not for me at least.
I really enjoyed KZ and KZ2 but I'm not shelling out for another television. I took a look at one at Best Buy and was not impressed. Besides that it gave me a headache. I hope the make a regular version or I'm passing.

That's funny, it used to be that a game stood on its own as a great game. It took all the aspects; sound, gameplay, story,...not just graphics. I have a substantial amount of games for my PS3 and my 360. They are great games to play not because I'm sitting there counting pixels, but because they do what games are meant to.
If you have to have special conditions in order to play your games in "their full glory" then maybe they aren't worth playing. Gamers today are spoil...

Uncharted 1 and 2 are great games. And allthough I haven't played them in awhile (sitting on my PS3 shelf)I respect them as great games. However, imo, UC2 is WAY overrated. Great game to be sure, but the be all end all? Not even close. However, that's how it goes for PS3 exclusives. They tend to be awesome yet very over rated.
